You try to do so much over Easter (or any Bank Holiday weekends in general) that a normal weekend can seem a bit plain and unexciting in comparison.
So the weekend after Easter we decided to try and at least not waste the day away, especially as it was lovely and sunny.
We didn’t do much though, but we did go on a nice walk with Buddy and baby and we watched the football (not the score we wanted mind you) but don’t you just lovely walk in the sunshine?
Big man did take a trip to the dump to get rid of some of our old furniture from our room that we no longer needed (or could be sold or passed on).
For lunch we ended up having a ham and cheese toastie and I had a cheeky cherryade and vodka (yes I am 24 but there are some things that you can’t outgrow).
We then ended up napping for who knows how long!
Simple weekends. They may sound boring to the outside world but sometimes it’s nice to just chill out and do next to nothing for a weekend isn’t it.
Until little man is older that is and into all these weekend activities that I am going to have to drag myself out of bed to take him to!
